Who Owns Mimic Holds?
As of May 2025, Mimic is officially part of the Rock Candy Holds family. Founded by Cole and Clayton Hardacre, Mimic began with a bold and creative vision: to bring the texture, nuance, and movement of real rock into indoor climbing. Rock Candy and Mimic share a commitment to thoughtful design and meaningful movement, and this partnership allows us to bring Mimic’s outdoor-inspired holds to a wider audience — all with the durability and support you expect from Rock Candy. The vision hasn’t changed — we’re just building on it together.

 

What is Production & Lead Time?

All MIMIC  Hold orders are made-to-order through Aragon Elastomers and will be subject to their manufacturing times. This is typically 30-45 days for most orders and up to 60 days for larger orders.

Do I get a discount if I am ordering for a gym or commercial project?
When ordering Mimic Holds, you can take advantage of the same gym and tiered discount structure available for all The Candy Shop brands. Just login to your gym account and see all Mimic holds at the standard gym discount. Don't have a Candy Shop gym account yet? Get started here.​

What is the warranty and return policy? 

All holds produced through Aragon Elastomers have a 5-year warranty. This does not include damage from normal wear and tear.

 

If you received the wrong holds or the color was not correct, please let us know within 14 days and we will make sure this gets corrected. 

 

If you would like to return holds for a different reason, we will accept them but with a 20% restocking fee applied to your refund. 

 

Returns will only be accepted if the climbing holds have not been climbed on and are in new condition.

All hardware purchases are final. If you receive the wrong hardware, let us know and we will fix it.
