Who Owns Mimic Holds?
As of May 2025, Mimic is officially part of the Rock Candy Holds family. Founded by Cole and Clayton Hardacre, Mimic began with a bold and creative vision: to bring the texture, nuance, and movement of real rock into indoor climbing. Rock Candy and Mimic share a commitment to thoughtful design and meaningful movement, and this partnership allows us to bring Mimic’s outdoor-inspired holds to a wider audience — all with the durability and support you expect from Rock Candy. The vision hasn’t changed — we’re just building on it together.

 

What is Production & Lead Time?

Mimic holds are made to order. Lead times typically range from 3–6 weeks depending on order size and production volume. We’ll confirm timing when your order is placed.

 

Do I get a discount if I am ordering for a gym or commercial project?

Yes. Mimic is available within The Candy Shop’s gym pricing structure. Reach out to get set up or request pricing.​

What is the warranty and return policy? 

Mimic holds are backed by a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover normal wear and tear.

 

If your order arrives incorrect or damaged, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right. 

 

Returns for other reasons may be accepted with a 20% restocking fee. Items must be unused and in new condition. Hardware is non-returnable.
